Engineered to Restore.
Concrete, structural, and building envelope repair for Hawaiʻi’s premier properties.
Structural Systems restores and protects Hawaiʻi’s buildings. For more than 40 years, we have engineered repair solutions for concrete, post-tension, building envelope, and foundation problems on residential condominiums from mid-high rise, hotels, commercial properties, and homes. What began with founder Joe Enright and a crew of six is now a 90-person team led by his son, President Damien Enright.
Our name reflects how we work. We diagnose the cause and deliver integrated structural systems that restore integrity and extend service life. From concrete spall and post-tension repair to railings, glazing, waterproofing, and protective coatings, one accountable team manages the work from assessment through completion. With our sister company, Kelikai Corporation, we also deliver deep foundations, limited-access drilling, shoring, deep soil mixing, and testing.
Why Hawaiʻi Owners and Property Managers Choose Structural Systems
- Engineered repairs, not cosmetic fixes. Every concrete and structural repair is designed to address the root cause, whether that’s corrosion, water intrusion, or post-tension failure. That protects structural integrity and extends your building’s service life.
- One contractor for the full building envelope. Concrete spall repair, post-tension cable repair, railings and guardrails, glazing, window and lānai slider replacement, waterproofing, and protective coatings, all from one accountable team.
- Accountable from start to finish. We take pride in clear communication, careful scheduling, and quick response. As a licensed general engineering contractor (AC-13555) with safety-led crews, we own every project from assessment and mobilization through completion.
Building Management Hawaiʻi:2026 Vendor of the Year: Concrete
Building Management Hawaiʻi named Structural Systems its 2026 Vendor of the Year in the Concrete category, based on nominations from the property managers and AOAOs we serve. The honor recognizes our building envelope restoration across Hawaiʻi, from high-rise lānai and parking structures to post-tension and railing systems.
Our History:From Driveways to High-Rises
In 1985, Joseph “Joe” Enright founded SSI with his wife, Christy, as accountant and a staff of six that included Al Wong in the office and Scott Patton, Joe Groaning, and Oscar Damo in the field. The company started with concrete flatwork and driveways, then grew into concrete spall repair and restoration, earning its reputation one project at a time.
Joe’s vision built more than a company. It built a team, a reputation, and a way of working that still guides every job. After Joe’s passing, his son Damien stepped in as President, honoring the standards his father set and the relationships he built.
Today, Damien leads SSI alongside Christy. Our work spans every major Hawaiian island, including concrete spall repairs at the Polynesian Cultural Center and the Hale Koa Hotel, guardrail work at Pacifica Honolulu and the Ambassador Hotel of Waikiki, and lānai railing replacement at The Consulate. Every project is supported by experienced leadership, project managers who oversee scheduling, procurement, and coordination with engineers. The field superintendents are responsible for site safety and quality control, and skilled crew who perform the work to specification.
Built for the Next 40 Years
Being named Vendor of the Year is a milestone, not a finish line. As Hawaiʻi’s buildings age, the Enright family and our team remain focused on the standard Joe set from day one: show up, work safely, and get the job done right.
